Our First Snow Day!!!

School's out for SNOW DAY!!!!

The schools and most businesses closed today, we had a blizzard!!! Yeah snow
Mikal had friends over to hang out.
They made a ramp to sled down...
Then Steven wanted to go so we did the whole suit...

Then Becki went out with him and he fell in the snow
and then he was all done... He came back in the house to
get warm and watch tv... 10 mins prep and 10 second of play...

They also played the Wii-

Then...they decided to sit in the spa... then it was time for snow
angels... in bathing suits...can you believe it???

The Little kids had a great time on the ramp, sledding and playing.
It was a great day for our first ever SNOW DAY!!!

We had about a foot of snow today and I think Mikal loved it the most!

Pinewood Derby 2009

First Sam cut out the shape he wanted... with a little
help from dad...

Painted blue and silver- The Hawk was the final car.

The car was the right length and almost perfect weight just an
ounce to mess with...
Becki and Mikal made cars too.
Becki had the Cherry-Mobile and Mikal was a Woody with a surf board.

Sam's troop after the races, he finished First in The Bears and Ninth over all.
Another great day and a fun new car. Great job Sam!

3 -14 Pi Night Pie Night

We had a great night with ward members and friends
eating lots of Pie to celebrate the mathematical pi...

Butterfly Pavillion

A day with bugs...

We went to the Rain forest today

And we were able to see hundreds of different Butterflies

It was a quick day but really neat to see all the different kinds

These are days that I know that Heavenly Father loves color and beauty. He created so many things that we just over look, today we didn't over look, we were able to see and enjoy.
We also were there for a butterfly release, new butterflies are let go into the area, very cool. Becki has 6 land on her while we were there, didn't have the camera then sorry.
So next time you come visit we're going to the Rain Forest in Colorado.
