Catch up

Well it is about 12:15 am and I have a very quiet house, so I was able to blog December so check back into the older post about 2 times... There are all of our Christmas photos. FHE Dessert - Children's Friend Recipe

Becki was reading the Children's Friend and asked
if she could make dessert tonight. So she started,
it was really yummy but seemed to take about
2 hours to get it made. It is the peanut crust pudding.
very yummy and we skipped the butterscotch pudding
and used chocolate. Yeah Becki!

Christmas Day

In the morning the kids were
up at 6:30 yeah for me

They all gather on mom and dad's
bed and wait till the tree lights
are turned on etc...

We had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed all that we received
we have been very blessed this year in more than one way.
We are truely grateful for all that we have and each other.

Sam was excited to continue his reading in Lemony Snickets, Mikal loves and needed the sweatshirt and shirt, Becki loves her new littlest Pet shop toys, all in all THANKS!!!
The other favorite gift was the Wii

Nate was our shepard Jenna was the sheep

Becki and Sam were the Wisepeople, and
Christa was the Angel for our play

Matt, Heather and Rachel
were the holy family

it was silly and we laughed mostly but
the kids had fun dressing up
and we love the story of the
Savior's birth.

We had a great Christmas
we ate Chinese food(homemade)
visited and enjoyed spending
time with each other.

lifted him up and he was able to put her on the

How cold is it???

It was -3 at 9:30 p.m.
by 6:00 a.m. it was -10
Yes we do have cold weather
here in CO- no snow but cold

Picking our Christmas Tree

We made our annual trip to Home Depot to
pick our Christmas Tree.

We decided to get a short and fatty tree
It was perfect looking and of course
it was the first tree Mikal picked

Then we had wheel barrel rides from dad

and Mikal thought that the wreath made
a better hat ...lol

One of the first snow storms

Becki found this icicle on the side of the house

it was warm enough for Mikal to make a snow angel (notice the shorts)

Sam and Steven played out in the front yard, Sam made a
snowman that only lasted until the sun came to this side of the
house, He melted by the end of the day
Now we have no snow :0[

New Glasses

We all had our eyes checked and received new glasses...
