3 -14 Pi Night Pie Night

We had a great night with ward members and friends
eating lots of Pie to celebrate the mathematical pi...

Strawberry-Rhubarb, Chocolate cream, Apple crumble
Pecan, even a Shoo-fly Pie. What a great night!

Mikal and Sam even did Dance Dance Revolution... We had a great time!

Butterfly Pavillion

A day with bugs...

We went to the Rain forest today

And we were able to see hundreds of different Butterflies

It was a quick day but really neat to see all the different kinds

These are days that I know that Heavenly Father loves color and beauty. He created so many things that we just over look, today we didn't over look, we were able to see and enjoy.
We also were there for a butterfly release, new butterflies are let go into the area, very cool. Becki has 6 land on her while we were there, didn't have the camera then sorry.
So next time you come visit we're going to the Rain Forest in Colorado.

Blue and Gold - Cake Bake

Sam and David work together each year to create a wonderful cake.
Sam does almost all of the work. He design's it, mixes it, cooks it, carves it, and frosts it.
David is the supervisor/ oven controller.

This is what the USA would like made in chocolate cake :0)

He used Jello to make the "Ocean/Water" around the USA

He is his whole troop getting ready to do the flag cerimony
They had a fun night and Sam won
for Best American Cake. Way to go Sam

Steven's Second Birthday

Can't believe it's been 2 years

He received more trains for his Geo Trax and

New fisher price trucks

But like always he had more fun in the wrapping
(not really he loved his new cars and train)

I made a cupcake cake that looked like a truck, or at least it was suppose too.

He had a great time blowing out the candles and we lit them a dozen times,
then it was onto the eating of the cake.
All in all it was a fun and great night, we are so lucky to have him in our family.
